Welcome to Teach and Learn! My name is Marlene Vandergrift. I am a semi-retired teacher ( I don’t think teachers ever really retire) I am currently doing some private tutoring as well as some coaching. I have taught elementary grades (K-7) and I have also worked as a Special Education teacher. Through this blog I’m hoping that we can find a place to support each other in our amazing and challenging profession as educators. Teaching is no longer an isolated profession. We are working with teachers from all around the world and sharing the riches of our experiences.
This site is dedicated to the exchange of ideas and strategies that we as teachers have found to be most successful in helping our students learn.
